These are the woods of the Roundstone Clan lands:
Jerith Wood
Jerith Wood lies to the east of Brook Stead. This wood was once the centre of the great forest that covered the Samabri Pass before the land was cleared. The wood is named after its guardian daemon who was once a great hunter who followed Odayla. Over many years he hunted in the forest and over the years his visits to his people became rarer and rarer until he stopped returning at all. Jerith had become the guardian of the forest. He is now the great oak tree in the centre of the wood. Usually only Odayla worshippers hunt here and they always sacrifice to Jerith by hanging an animal trophy from the great tree before hunting. Jerith only accepts sacrifice from Odayla worshippers and any others who hunt here or who fail to sacrifice receive the Unlucky Hunt Curse. The clearing around the great tree is an eerily quiet place and the tree is covered in skulls, feathers, skins, horns and teeth.

Midnight Grove
The secret Midnight Grove lies in the wooded valley of Witness. It is very hard to find and the secret route to it is known only to worshippers of Yinkin. This is where Alusar hid from the Fire Tribe and waited to meet Orlanth after he found the secret weakness of Burning Azar. It is the holy place of Yinkin worshippers and a favourite place for their rites. The daemon of the grove is called Midnight and appears as a black alynx who slinks in to watch ceremonies or when he isn’t expected.
